吴学兵，男，北京大学天文学系教授、博士生导师、系主任。1996年在中国科学院北京天文台获天 体物理专业博士学位，2003年获教育部自然科学二等奖 （第一完成人），2004年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划，2005年获国家杰出青年科学基金。曾任中国天文学会常务理事，中国天文学会空间天文和高 能天体物理专业委员会主任, 中国科学院粒子天体物理重点实验室学术委员会委员。 现任北京天文学会副理事长,《天文学报》编委, 我国重大科学工程郭守敬望远镜 (LAMOST)科学委员会委员和河外巡天工作组成员, 下一代加拿大-法国-夏威夷望远镜(ngCFHT)类星体与活动星系核科学工作组成员, 国际天文学联合会(IAU)会 员。
